Court interpreter and certified translation

A court interpreter is a translator appointed by the president of the competent County Court or the Ministry of Justice and Administration. A certified translation is a translation of a document (diploma, medical report, extract from the court register, certificate of compliance…) or a spoken text (interpretations in courts, in registry or notary offices…) of which content, style and terminology are identical to the original, which a court the interpreter guarantees with his stamp and signature. For a document drawn up in a foreign language to be valid in legal transactions, it must be translated by an authorized court interpreter.

We deliver certified translations by e-mail in PDF, since it is prohibited by law to amend a certified translation. Printing certified translations submitted electronically is prohibited as well, which is why physical copies of translations must be collected in person or by post.

Multilingual combinations with 21 European languages are also possible.

We are located at Ulica grada Vukovara 222 in Zagreb, right across the street from the Ministry of Justice and in the vicinity of the Municipal Civil Court.
